 I would recommend you to perform a System File Checker (SFC) scan on your PC.

 System File Checker will scan all your system files as well as replaces corrupted files on your system. You can follow the procedure to run the sfc/scan. 

1. Go to start menu and click on all programs/ accessories and right click on command prompt 'CMD'
2. after that click run as 'administrator'

3. In the command prompt type 'sfc/scannow'

4. The sfc /scannow command will scan all system files as well as replaces inaccurate versions by      means of correct Microsoft versions.

5. And reboot your computer/laptop after scan finished.
